Handcrafted and set on sterling silver French wires, WindHorse fused dichroic glass earrings add a touch of elegance to any outfit. The square and diamond shapes are approximately 1/2", while the rectangle shape is approximately 3/4" long by 1/4" wide. If you're looking for something a little more unique, I also offer swing earrings with glass stones that are approximately 1/4" x ½, doubles (1/2” wide by 1” long) and linked with 2 glass stones linked with sterling. The post earrings are approximately 1/4” to 1/2” round or square. And for those who want to keep their options open, clip-on earrings can be special ordered at no extra charge. Since the company’s launch in 2000, artisan-owner Alison Thibault has personally crafted each piece, working with sheets of colored glass, a glass cutter and a 1500 degree kiln. What emerge from the fire are rare pieces of captured light - a brilliant spectrum of colors illuminating her studio and her customers.
To create pieces simultaneously elemental and personal, Alison draws inspiration from the landscape—sea and stone, forest and sky—of her island home, from the family of people who love her jewelry, and from the music and stories always playing as she works.
Because of the nature of dichroic glass and the fused glass process, it is impossible to exactly duplicate any two pieces of fused glass jewelry. Therefore, the images are a close but not exact representation of the fused dichroic glass jewelry you will receive.
