Wholesale Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in becoming a WindHorse Arts stockist. I value thoughtful partnerships and want to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. Below are the standard terms and policies for wholesale orders. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions—I’m always happy to connect.

Minimum Orders

  • Opening Order Minimum: $500

  • Reorder Minimum $300

Opening orders are thoughtfully curated to ensure a strong in-store presentation. Orders below the minimum may be accepted at my discretion and are subject to a small order fee.

In-Stock Wholesale Orders

All items listed in the wholesale shop are in stock and ready to ship.

Orders placed by 12 PM EST typically ship the next business day from my Vinalhaven Island studio via USPS, fully insured.

Tracking information will be provided as soon as your order ships.

Custom Orders

Interested in a custom colorway or a curated collection for your shop?

Custom orders begin with a conversation.

Because I work in limited color runs and produce each piece by hand, all custom requests must be discussed prior to production. This allows me to confirm color availability, quantities, timing, and overall fit for your shop.

Lead times vary depending on:

• Season
• Studio production schedule
• Raw material inventory
• Quantity requested
• Whether the order is a rush

Typical production time for approved custom orders is 2–4 weeks, though this may extend during peak seasons.

Payment Terms

  • Prepayment is required for all orders unless otherwise agreed.

  • Net 30 terms may be extended to returning retailers with established order history.

Pricing Policy

WindHorse Arts products must be advertised and sold at or above the listed retail price.

Maintaining consistent pricing across all retail partners supports brand integrity and ensures a fair marketplace for everyone carrying the line.

WindHorse Arts products may not be sold on third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, or similar platforms without prior written approval.

Discounting below retail price without prior approval may result in account review.

Shipping & Delivery

  • All wholesale orders ship from my island studio via USPS for a flat $35 rate.

  • All shipments include tracking and insurance.

Returns & Exchanges

I stand behind the quality of my work and value my relationships with retail partners.

Wholesale orders are eligible for exchange or store credit only within 14 days of receipt. Merchandise must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the retailer.

Store credit may be applied toward a future wholesale order and must be used within 6 months.

Damaged Items

If anything arrives damaged, please notify me within 5 days of delivery and include clear photos of the item and packaging. I will repair, replace, or issue store credit as appropriate.

Packaging & Display

  • All pieces come pre-packaged with WindHorse Arts jewlery cards).

  • Basic signage and artist bio cards are available upon request.

Exclusivity

  • Limited geographic exclusivity may be available on a case-by-case basis.

  • Exclusivity is considered based on order volume and frequency.

  • If you’re interested in exclusive territory rights, please reach out to discuss.

Order Process

  1. Submit an Inquiry
    Complete the inquiry form on this page to begin.

  2. Application Review
    I review applications within 3–5 business days. Approved retailers receive a private passcode to access the wholesale shop.

  3. Place Your Order
    Browse the wholesale collection and submit your order through the online shop.

  4. Payment & Preparation
    Once payment is received, your order is carefully packed in my Vinalhaven Island studio.

  5. Shipping Confirmation
    You’ll receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.
