The Story of the Color
A few years ago on an early November morning, I was out for my usual walk with Gigi heading to Lane’s via Round the Mountain Rd. Everything was soft, quiet, still. The creek was flat calm, the granite was cold from the night air, and the sky had turned the softest mix of apricot, pale pink, gold, and misty blue. One of those mornings where everything suddenly looks too beautiful to hurry through. I stopped and took a photograph and carried that palette around with me for years.
