Handcrafted fused dichroic glass stones are set on handcrafted sterling silver French wires and come with clear rubber ear backs. Clip on earrings may be special ordered for no extra charge.
The rectangular and diamond shapes are approximately 1/2". The long shape is approximately 3/4" long by 1/4" wide. The swing earrings are glass stones approximately 1/4" x 1/2" set on 1" and 1.5" silver wire. The double earring glass stones are approximately 1" long by 1/2" wide. The linked earrings have 2 glass stones each approximately 1/2" linked with sterling silver. The post earrings are approximately 1/4” to 1/2” round or square. Since the company’s launch in 2000, artisan-owner Alison Thibault has personally crafted each piece, working with sheets of colored glass, a glass cutter and a 1500 degree kiln. What emerge from the fire are rare pieces of captured light - a brilliant spectrum of colors illuminating her studio and her customers.
To create pieces simultaneously elemental and personal, Alison draws inspiration from the landscape—sea and stone, forest and sky—of her island home, from the family of people who love her jewelry, and from the music and stories always playing as she works.
Because of the nature of dichroic glass and the fused glass process, it is impossible to exactly duplicate any two pieces of fused glass jewelry. Therefore, the images are a close but not exact representation of the fused dichroic glass jewelry you will receive.
