Burnished is a deep ember red with a coppered glow suspended inside each fused dichroic glass stone. It carries the warmth of banked coals and the richness of iron warmed through. As February softens and March begins to stretch toward longer light, this color feels grounded, steady, and quietly powerful.
In necklace form, Burnished becomes a focal point. The single diamond-shaped fused dichroic glass stone rests cleanly at the collarbone, its depth shifting as it catches the light. Subtle layers within the glass reveal flickers of warmth with every movement, giving the piece a living quality.

Handcrafted in my Vinalhaven studio as part of a limited color run. When Burnished sells through, the glass is gone and the name is retired.

Because of the nature of dichroic glass and the fused glass process, it is impossible to exactly duplicate any two pieces of fused glass jewelry. Therefore, the images are a close but not exact representation of the fused dichroic glass jewelry you will receive.

The square and diamond shapes are approximately 1.25” square. All necklaces are 18” on stainless steel wire and finished with sterling silver clasp.
If you would like another length please let me know.

WindHorse jewelry is meant to be worn and loved but it's always advisable to remove jewelry before exercising and swimming. Also, please avoid exposing jewelry to chemicals including hairspray and perfume. And remember this is glass and can break or chip if dropped on a hard surface. Treat pieces with care to avoid scratches. Please clean silver with a soft polishing cloth.
