Late winter on the island carries a quiet shift. The harbor still holds its chill, spruce remains deep green, yet the light begins to linger longer across moss and granite.
The Returning Light necklace captures that moment.
A base of transparent green glass is layered with pink and gold dichroic and capped with a veil of transparent yellow. In the kiln, the layers fuse into a single luminous stone where warm ember tones glow through green.
As the pendant moves, the glass reveals shifting flashes of rose, gold, and green—like sunlight finding its way back across the landscape after a long season of gray.
Each stone is hand-cut, layered, and kiln-fired multiple times, then coldworked to create a soft tumbled matte finish that allows the color within the glass to glow. Suspended on a fine stainless steel wire, the stone appears to float lightly on the neck.
This necklace is so unique, it's sure to start a conversation wherever you go! The WindHorse Arts Necklace features a handcrafted fused dichroic glass stone that appears to float on your neck. The multi strand stainless steel wire is coated with nylon and finished with a sterling silver clasp.
If you have any special requests, please make note of them during checkout. Thank you
Because of the nature of dichroic glass and the fused glass process, it is impossible to exactly duplicate any two pieces of fused glass jewelry. Therefore, the images are a close but not exact representation of the fused dichroic glass jewelry you will receive.
