The Belfast Blue Rivière is a celebration of color, light, and the simple pleasure of wearing something that makes you feel extraordinary. A continuous strand of luminous fused dichroic glass stones wraps gracefully around the neckline, each one hand-cut, kiln-fired, and finished in my Vinalhaven studio. Together they create a ribbon of brilliant blue that shifts from bright turquoise to rich sapphire as it catches the light.
Inspired by long summer days along Belfast's waterfront, this necklace captures the changing blues of the harbor, the sparkle of sunlight on the water, and the easy rhythm of a coastal town at its busiest and most beautiful. Every movement reveals another flash of color, making the necklace feel alive throughout the day.
Despite its bold presence, the Belfast Blue Rivière is remarkably versatile. It pairs just as beautifully with a simple white linen shirt as it does with an elegant dress, adding a vibrant splash of Maine coastal color to any occasion. Whether you're attending a celebration, enjoying an evening out, or simply want to elevate an ordinary day, this necklace is designed to be noticed, admired, and worn often.
Like every piece of WindHorse Arts jewelry, the Belfast Blue Rivière is handcrafted one stone at a time, ensuring that no two necklaces are ever exactly alike. It is a wearable reminder of summer skies, sparkling harbors, and the joy of discovering something made slowly, thoughtfully, and by hand.
