I like a necklace that can do most of the work. Put this one on with a plain sweater and there’s very little left to decide, which is handy when it’s already getting dark and you haven’t figured out what’s for supper.
There’s enough room in this single dichroic glass stone to see two sides of Rosehips. The red is deep and soft across the face, and a brighter red shows up along the edges when you move. It has all the color I loved seeing on my October walks, in a piece I’ll happily wear through the holidays and well into sweater season.

WindHorse jewelry is meant to be worn and loved but it's always advisable to remove jewelry before exercising and swimming. Also, please avoid exposing jewelry to chemicals including hairspray and perfume. And remember this is glass and can break or chip if dropped on a hard surface. Treat pieces with care to avoid scratches. Please clean silver with a soft polishing cloth.

Every piece begins as sheets of colored glass and is carefully handcrafted in my studio on Vinalhaven Island, Maine. Because each firing produces its own unique interplay of color and light, no two pieces are exactly the same.
