The Story of the Color
Bottlegreen was inspired by the deep green of old glass bottles, the kind that seem to hold stories long after they've been emptied. It is a color that feels rooted and enduring, with a quiet confidence that never goes out of style.
Layers of fused dichroic glass create a rich green foundation that comes alive in changing light. Emerald, gold, and hints of blue emerge and disappear as the glass moves, revealing new dimensions throughout the day. At times it feels dark and mysterious. Moments later it glows with an unexpected brilliance.
Living on an island means becoming familiar with colors that resist easy definition. The water can shift from green to blue to silver within a single afternoon. Forests deepen after rain. Moss catches the sun and suddenly seems illuminated from within. Bottlegreen carries some of that same magic, changing subtly depending on the light, the season, and the moment.
About the Jewelry

Like all of my jewelry, each piece is individually handcrafted from fused dichroic glass in my studio on Vinalhaven Island, Maine. The result is jewelry that catches the light, starts conversations, and offers a small moment of delight every time you put it on.
