Spring is arriving. The light lingers a little longer each evening, the ocean shifts through a thousand shades of blue, and the granite ledges begin to warm under the returning sun. Out on the horizon, the water settles into a deep, luminous blue that feels steady, expansive, and full of promise.

The Story of the Color
There’s a moment in spring on the island when the world feels like it’s opening again. The air softens, the light stretches a little farther across the day, and the ocean settles into that deep, confident blue that only shows up when the season is turning.
It’s the blue of standing on warm granite ledges and looking out across the open water. The kind of blue that makes you breathe a little deeper. The kind that reminds you the horizon is still wide and welcoming, no matter what the news or the world may be shouting about.
That’s where Blue Granite comes from.
Not from one single place, but from a feeling. From those island moments when sea and stone meet under a big sky and everything feels steady again. The granite holds the shore. The ocean keeps moving. The horizon stretches out there like an open invitation.
It’s a hopeful color. A joyful color. A color that feels grounded and expansive all at once.
When I look at it, I think about how lucky I am to live here, where the granite meet the ocean and the light is always changing. I think about long walks along the shoreline, the sound of waves folding themselves back onto the rocks, and that deep blue band sitting quietly at the edge of the world.
And maybe that’s what this color really carries.
A little bit of island calm.
A little bit of open horizon.
A reminder that there is always more beauty ahead.
Blue Granite feels like standing at the edge of the island, looking out at that deep blue line, and thinking…
Yes. The world is still full of wonder.
About the Jewelry
Each piece begins as layers of glass. Sheets of neon blue dichroic glass are paired with opaque gray and carefully layered before being kiln-fired into a single luminous stone. After firing, the glass is coldworked and gently tumbled in sand to create a soft matte surface that echoes the worn texture of island granite. The finished stones are then set with sterling silver, allowing the color to take center stage.
Worn as jewelry, Blue Granite brings that sense of calm and possibility into everyday life. The color draws the eye in a soft, natural way, offering just enough shimmer to catch the light as you move. It pairs effortlessly with relaxed linens, denim, and soft neutrals, echoing the colors of sea and stone. Against darker tones it becomes quietly elegant, perfect for evenings out or gatherings where you want something simple yet memorable.
There’s something joyful about wearing a color like this. It feels steady and uplifting at the same time, like standing at the edge of the island looking out across the open water.
Blue Granite carries a little piece of that horizon with it. A reminder of warm granite ledges, wide ocean views, and the simple pleasure of looking out at a world that still feels full of wonder.
