The Story of the Color
Late winter on the island carries a quiet shift. The ocean is still cold, spruce still holds its deep green, and the light begins to change. It lingers a little longer on the water and glows softly against moss and stone.
Returning Light captures that moment - the moment when winter loosend and the light begins to find its way back.
About the Jewelry
A base of transparent green glass is layered with pink and gold dichroic, then capped with a veil of transparent yellow. In the kiln, the layers fuse into a luminous stone where warm ember tones shimmer through green.
As the piece moves, the glass reveals shifting tones—like sunlight finding its way back across the landscape after a long season of gray.
The surface is coldworked to create a soft tumbled matte finish, allowing the color within the glass to glow rather than shine.
